articulate – to pronounce distinctly and carefully; to speak clearly and distinctly

The English language originated with three Germanic tribes – the Angles, the Saxons and the Jutes.

The Angles, the Saxons, and the Jutes were a white people.

English is at its origin a language of white people.

Anyone who is speaking English is speaking the language of a white people and is therefore speaking like a white person.

Some people speak the language well and others fail at it, some miserably. Failures are judged as less than.

Take no offense at an accusation that “you speak like a white person”. Rather distance yourself from the accuser as he or she is simple-minded at best. What is intended as a put down is actually a compliment.

This person recognizes that you speak the language as it is meant to be spoken.

This person is also announcing to anyone within earshot that

  1. he or she does not speak the language properly (I am less than) and
  2. he or she is not exposed to anyone who speaks the language properly (I am used to everyone around me being less than)

Choose your environment well and stay in the best light.
