Everyone’s got emotional baggage; the question is, what are you doing to unpack that trunk and put it away, so your lovers, friends and relatives don’t have to keep tripping over it?  – Shari Schreiber

With intelligence and a solid plan B, trust.

With discretion and compassion, be honest.

With discernment and wisdom, surrender.

Intelligence, resourcefulness, discretion, compassion, discernment, and wisdom – in these attributes lie a woman’s true strength. Unyielding independence is not strength. It is a female approximation of masculinity. It is unattractive. And it is baggage.

Put it down.

Be open. Extend a compliment. Express fear. Show gratitude. Ask for help.

Expect abundance.

Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious, boastful, arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way. It is not irritable or resentful. It does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Cor 13:4-7)
