Perhaps I can create a feminine version of this

Or even better, this

Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters. – Albert Einstein

Harmony makes small things grow, lack of it makes great things decay. – Sallust

Keep it pretty 🙂

Fall is coming and I’m bored with the gym. I am still walking but the falling temps will slow that down soon enough.

On the lookout for workout alternatives, I have some interesting finds 🙂

Yoga or Pilates – forms range from gentle to more vigorous workouts; reduces stress; builds overall strength, flexibility, and improves posture; develops core; can burn a lot of calories.

Hula Hoops – adds variety and a little fun to a workout; is great for the core; is considered low-intensity for most; light hoops cause you expend more energy and so are better for aerobic exercise; weighted hoops move slower allowing you to work out longer and burn calories. Cinch that waist!

Belly Dance – develops feminine grace; improves posture and overall muscle tone most especially the abdominals; depending on intensity, can burn a pretty decent amount of calories.

Burlesque – adds spice and boosts confidence; includes lots of stretching for increased flexibility; corrects posture; promotes core stability; and is considered low intensity. Now this looks fun!

If you remember nothing else, remember two things,

  1. Less is more and
  2. Femininity is sexy.

When you truly embody femininity, there is little need to pile on other things to display it. There is no need to overcompensate.

Less means less glitter, less embellishment, fewer accessories, less need to reveal body parts . . .

Simply accentuate your softness, your curves, and your beauty.

for the young ladies who are having trouble with the concept 🙂

to be feminine and sexy . . . yet classy and not trashy.

Just keep femininity first.

Growing up, it was pretty clear, based solely on dress and deportment, who the “working girls”, the cheap chicks, and the normal women were.

Times have changed. What looks like, walks like, and acts like a duck is still a duck but prefers not to be deemed a duck.

Unfortunately, women who miss the Class vs. Trash lesson, emulate what gets attention.

And train wrecks do get attention.

People are visual. The eyes constantly gather information. This is a good thing. The more information you take in, the better able you are to draw a reasonable conclusion. And people generally do make logical conclusions based on what they see.

So, if you look like, walk like, and act like a trashy female, you will be deemed a trashy female.

Too much cleavage, hemlines too high, clothing too tight, colors too loud, big, visible tattoos (masculine), AND strappy platform stilettos – too much. It’s all too much. And overcompensation screams insecurity.

The only time overcompensation does not point directly at insecurity, is when the woman is “working” or just plain cheap.

Draw your own lines. Base them on reality rather than what you wish or perfect worlds that do not exist.

Beauty is the first present Nature gives to women, and the first it takes away.  – MÊrÊ

Use it or lose it 🙂
