Intuition is the sixth sense. It is an ability to perceive just like sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. It is the ability to know.

Intuition is neither wishful thinking nor fear. It arises from simply paying attention. Paying attention to events which happen around you, how you feel, your thoughts, repeating patterns. All of these things and more can spark it.

It exists in everyone. Intuition is a natural instinct. You choose to invite or ignore it.

To tap into it, be open and listen to yourself. It doesn’t activate on demand. However, if you are open and accepting, it will arise.

Intuition will tell you what is true, whether you agree with it or not. It exists for your protection and growth. Learn to trust yours.

James 2:17  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Faith by itself is not enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is useless.

James 2:26  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Just as the body is dead without breath, faith is dead without good works.

Do Your Part

Prayer without action is no prayer at all. You have to work as if everything depended on you, and leave the rest to God.

Mother Teresa

Matthew 5: 3-12

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall possess the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice, for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will direct your paths.

Proverbs 3, 5-6

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.

Reinhold Niebuhr

Should a damaged person cross my path, I say this prayer for myself and continue forward.

Saint Theresa’s Prayer

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.
